What are we´ll doing?
Discover Oaxaca’s soul through mezcal: taste 5 artisanal varieties and explore the ancient culture of agave in a unique setting.
Your adventure begins with an exploration of the agave plant—sacred in Mexico for over 10,000 years. Learn how this ancient plant has shaped the identity of our people, and uncover the stories behind its cultivation and symbolism.
Then, awaken your senses with a guided tasting of five artisanal mezcals, each crafted in different producing regions of Oaxaca. Using a special tasting technique, you’ll discover the complexity of their aromas and flavors, recognizing the unique character that each mezcal carries.
The experience takes place in El Mercado Negro, a charming space inside a colonial house in the heart of Oaxaca. Intimate, authentic, and filled with history, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy mezcal the way it was meant to be appreciated.

You need to arrive on time, we are subject to schedule, if you do not arrive on time, we will not be able to receive you and there are no refunds.

What do I need to bring?

Drinking alcohol requires ID, bring at least a picture of it.

Bring your best attitude, we will learn the mezcal production process and taste a lot of mezcal.
How long does this experience last?
We'll be discovering the full process of artisanal mezcal production for around 2 hours.
Where will we be?
We will be in one of the most famous places in the city, you´ll receive complete information by message the previous day of your reservation.
Do I need to bring a partner?
No! You'll meet more travelers; you won't be alone.
Can you pick me up at my hotel?
