Discover the fascinating world of mezcal during a one-hour experience in Roma Norte, one of the most vibrant areas of Mexico City. During the tasting, you’ll discover what makes mezcal unique, from the different types of agave and traditional production methods to how aging and alcohol content can transform its flavor and character.
The experience includes a guided tasting of five carefully selected mezcals: Espadín, Pechuga, Añejo, Tobalá and Madrecuishe. You’ll learn how to appreciate their aromas, identify different flavors and recognize the characteristics that make each variety unique, while discovering new ways to enjoy Mexico’s liquid spirit.
Who is this experience for?
This experience is designed for travelers aged 18 and over who want to discover an authentic part of Mexican culture through mezcal, whether you have previous knowledge or are completely new to it.
It’s a great option for solo travelers looking for a different and entertaining activity, couples who want to share a special experience, or groups of friends who want to get together, celebrate or simply discover something new together. We welcome groups of up to 15 people.
What is the itinerary?
At the beginning, you’ll learn the fundamentals of mezcal and discover how agave, production methods and the aging process influence each mezcal’s profile.
Then, the guided tasting of five different mezcals begins. Step by step, you’ll learn how to appreciate their aromas and flavors while comparing their different characteristics.
The experience lasts one hour and takes place from Wednesday to Saturday in Roma Norte, Mexico City. It is available in English and Spanish in two sessions:
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm | First session
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm | Second session

This is a relaxed indoor experience, so no special attire is required. To consume alcohol, you must present a valid ID (a photo of it is acceptable). Just bring a great attitude and wear comfortable clothes to enjoy and sip comfortably.
Do I need to come with someone?
No, we can host the tasting just for you, or you can join a group if others have booked for the same time slot.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. The experience is conducted in both Spanish and English, so everyone will be fully included.
